演講題目：Estimating of Shared Species in Multiple Communities

摘要：Traditionally, using the number of observed species of filed survey as species richness underestimates since there are always some species not observed in the sampling process. The problem also arises, estimating the number of shared species for multi-communities or assemblages. The Laplace method is a very powerful tool for approximating integrals in many fields. We used the Laplace method to estimate the number of shared species under the assumption of bounded-below for detecting probabilities in heterogeneous communities. The approach can be derived to obtain a simple estimator of the number of shared species in three or more communities. Simulation studies are also conducted to investigate the performance of the resulting estimators. Real data set are analyzed for illustration.
